Synthetic Monitoring
Test applications and services by creating checks that continously run against remote targets from probe locations around the world, and assess their availability, performance, and correctness.
Overview
Synthetic Monitoring is a black box monitoring solution provided as part of Grafana Cloud. Synthetic Monitoring gives you insight into how your applications and services are behaving from an external point of view.
You can define checks to continually test remote targets from probe locations around the world and assess the availability, performance, and correctness of services. If something fails, you can troubleshoot issues by looking at the logs and metrics that are collected on every check run, and you can leverage a Prometheus-style alerting to ensure your team is notified at the right time, and with the right notification method.
